Netflix Unveils Original Podcasts Featuring Pete Davidson and Michael Irvin

Launching this month, Netflix introduces two original video podcasts: "The Pete Davidson Show" and "The White House."

On January 19th, audiences can tune in to "The White House," while "The Pete Davidson Show" will premiere on January 30th, marking Netflix's entry into original podcasting.

These new shows enrich Netflix's expanding selection of video podcasts, which includes programs that have been licensed from notable platforms such as Spotify, iHeartMedia, and Barstool Sports. Some of the well-known titles in this collection are "My Favorite Murder," "The Bill Simmons Podcast," and "Pardon My Take." Under the terms of Netflix's agreements, these licensed shows are not permitted to be fully available on YouTube, which has become the most significant hub for video content.

"The Pete Davidson Show" will release new episodes every Friday, featuring the host, Pete Davidson, in unfiltered conversations with guests from his garage. The streaming giant intends to disclose more information soon, including the lineup of Davidson's first guests.

Michael Irvin, known for his illustrious career as a wide receiver with the Dallas Cowboys, will present "The White House." The program will include a diverse cast of co-hosts and guests. Notably, former NFL player Brandon Marshall will not only co-host but also produce the show. "The White House," named after Irvin's legendary hangout spot during his football days, promises two episodes per week.
