Among Netflix's triumphs, the show 'Adolescence' stood out, bagging four awards including best limited series. Notably, Stephen Graham was recognized as the best actor, while Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty took home supporting actor and actress awards, respectively, in a miniseries or television film.

In the realm of animation, 'KPop Demon Hunters' became a celebrated title, earning awards for best-animated feature and best original song. During her acceptance, songwriter EJAE encouraged dreamers worldwide, emphasizing that rejection can redirect you to success, and it's never too late to shine.

Additionally, Netflix triumphed in comedy as Ricky Gervais secured an award for his stand-up performance in 'Mortality'.

Recognition for Other Streamers: Apple TV, HBO Max, and Hulu

Apple TV had a noteworthy night with 'The Studio' fetching awards for the best television series musical or comedy and for Seth Rogen's performance. Rhea Seehorn's role in 'Pluribus' also garnered a best performance by a lead actress in a drama award for Apple.

New Beginnings: Introduction of the Podcast Category

This year's ceremony also introduced a novel category, best podcast, which was awarded to Amy Poehler for 'Good Hang with Amy Poehler'. This podcast, featuring interviews with notable figures like Tina Fey and Quinta Brunson, debuted just last year.
