Hidden Photographs of Serial Killer Rodney Alcala

Hidden Photographs of Serial Killer Rodney Alcala

In the late 1970s, detectives investigating the murder of young Robin Samsoe explored a storage unit in Seattle linked to Rodney Alcala. During their search, they uncovered a collection of photographs featuring mainly young women and children in provocative and sometimes explicit postures.

Following Alcala's conviction and death sentence by a third jury in 2010, authorities from Huntington Beach decided to make over 100 of these images public. Their goal was to bring clarity about the identities of the people in the photos and assess whether more individuals fell victim to Alcala. Many of those identified from the images are alive today.
