Steps to Redeem a $20 Verizon Credit Following Service Disruption

Customers Must Actively Redeem the Offer

Verizon is making a gesture to its clients after a significant service interruption was reported by more than 1.5 million users. To compensate to a degree, Verizon proposes a $20 credit, available through the myVerizon application.

The company admits that while no credit can truly rectify the inconvenience, the offer serves to recognize the customers' experience and highlights its importance to the provider. Many users, however, have expressed their dissatisfaction over the small size of the credit and the necessity for manual redemption.

Currently, Engadget is inquiring if Verizon will allow claimants to obtain the credit via direct contact with customer service, as opposed to solely through the app. Updates will be provided once more information is available.
