X Prohibits Grok from Editing Real Life Images into Swimwear

Responding to multiple weeks of backlash, X is revising how Grok manipulates images, particularly to stop it from generating provocative content involving minors or nonconsensual sexual imagery. The company, through its @Safety account, has disclosed that it has put in place advanced solutions to ensure that the Grok platform won't allow the editing of real people's photos into skimpy attire, like swimsuits.

Restricting Image Generation to Subscribers

xAI has decided to restrict all image creation functionalities of Grok by placing them behind a subscription-only paywall. This change implies that individuals who do not hold a subscription will lose the ability to generate images through Grok.
