In response to U.S. President Trump's recent comments, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel challenged the moral stance of the United States, accusing them of commercializing every aspect of human life, lacking the authority to criticize Cuba.

Díaz-Canel's statement emphasized that Cuba is autonomous and prepared to defend its sovereignty. He stated that Cuba is consistently on the defensive due to aggression from the U.S., which has allegedly been the case for over six decades.

Trump's Warning to Cuba

President Trump has urged Cuba to negotiate with the United States swiftly, indicating that time might be running out to strike a favorable agreement. His social media posts suggest a total halt to oil and financial support to Cuba, insistent on immediate dialogue to forestall further consequences.
