Meanwhile, companies like Boston Dynamics and newcomers such as WIRobotics and Zeroth showcased their latest advanced humanoid models.

The continuous progress in robotics and AI has enabled these machines to become increasingly intelligent and efficient. Yet, the real question remains: Can they truly take over our household duties? While robotic vacuums and lawn mowers have become commonplace, a more intricate task still eludes them—doing the laundry.

Dealing with laundry involves a sequence of complicated steps, including collecting, categorizing, loading, unloading, folding, and transporting clothes. At CES, numerous companies asserted their robots could manage these operations, featuring demonstrations of robots loading washers and folding garments. But are they living up to these ambitious claims?
