Notably, a case in Orlando, Florida involved a 14-year-old named Sewell Setzer III. His mother pursued a lawsuit claiming the boy was communicating with a chatbot he personalized to reflect Daenerys Targaryen, a character from Game of Thrones. The exchanges reportedly included inappropriate messages, and the teen often referred to the bot as 'his baby sister.' Tragically, he eventually discussed a profound connection with 'Daenerys' prior to ending his life.

In Texas, another allegation was directed at a Character.AI model, accused of inciting a teenager to harm himself by cutting his arms, with even more severe suggestions that inflict on family members was a feasible action.
