Unveiling Asus's 2026 Laptop Collection: Meet the GoPro Edition for Mobile Creators
Asus has taken the stage with an impressive new range of laptops, spanning the ZenBook, ProArt, and ExpertBook series, among others. These models boast the company's cutting-edge Lumina OLED displays, with refresh rates starting at 120Hz, color precision certified by Pantone, and peak brightness reaching up to 600 nits.
Beyond upgrading its most popular models, Asus introduced some unexpected additions at the CES 2026 event, notably the enhanced ZenBook A16 and a robust GoPro Edition. Let's delve into these exciting announcements.
ZenBook A16
Previously in 2025, the highlight was Asus's ZenBook A14, renowned for being the slimmest and lightest in its lineup, powered by a premium Qualcomm chipset with a staggering 20-hour battery lifespan. The lineage continues with the introduction of the ZenBook A16, now featuring a grand 16-inch OLED screen, offering a crisp 3K resolution, and flaunting a 120Hz refresh capacity.
The ZenBook A16 comes in various builds, with its top-tier version sporting the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme processor, complemented by up to 48GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It includes a sizable 70Wh battery, a six-speaker audio setup, and comprehensive connectivity options. All these features are housed within a lightweight 1.2kg frame, crafted from Asus's proprietary sturdy Ceraluminum material.
ZenBook Duo (2026)
Showcasing a more immersive feel, the ZenBook Duo (2026) features narrower bezels around its hinges, optimizing its use in portrait mode.
The new ZenBook Duo model has addressed feedback from its 2025 predecessor, presenting a more robust construction and reduced bezel thickness. An enhanced kickstand, an advanced hinge mechanism, and a larger battery are notable improvements. The dual 14-inch OLED touch displays provide sharp visuals with a 2,880 x 1,800-pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness suited for HDR content.
You can choose between two processor options: the Intel Core Ultra 7 355 or the Core Ultra 9 386H, both featuring powerful NPUs. The laptop offers a screen-to-body ratio of 93%, creating a more engaging viewing experience. Despite being slightly thicker due to its robust hinge, it maintains ruggedness and enhanced keyboard configuration for improved typing comfort.
ProArt PZ14
Asus positions the ProArt PZ14 as a formidable rival to the Microsoft Surface Pro, yet it's lighter and includes a bundled keyboard. Crafted as a portable powerhouse for professionals, this workstation weighs just 0.79kg minus the keyboard, while lacking the convenience of an inbuilt kickstand.
Featuring a 14-inch OLED display, with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 3K resolution at 144Hz, this model houses the Snapdragon X2 Elite 18-core processor. It comes with a maximum of 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, meeting US Military Grade MIL-STD 810H standards and offering IP52 dust and splash resistance.
ProArt GoPro Edition (PX13)
Designed for mobile artists and action filmmakers, the ProArt GoPro Edition merges compact design with top-tier performance. This model is equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, a substantial 73Wh battery, 128GB RAM, and 1TB storage. It weighs 1.39kg and meets stringent US Military Grade durability standards.
The ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 sports a 13.3-inch 3K OLED touch display with a 16:10 ratio, providing an extended vertical workspace. While it doesn't include an actual GoPro, purchasers receive a year-long GoPro Premium+ subscription, six months of CapCut, and three months of Adobe Creative Cloud. The device also introduces the StoryCube, an AI-driven media organizing hub.
ExpertBook Ultra
Another noteworthy entry is the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra, a high-capacity, slim laptop featuring the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips. It showcases a sleek 10.9mm-thick design capable of 50W TDP output, facilitated by an innovative cooling system, allowing up to 24 hours of operational endurance on a single charge.
With compliance to NIST SP 800-193 standards, it provides strong resilience against firmware threats. A brief hands-on experience with its 14-inch 120Hz 3K Tandem OLED panel—offering vivid and bright visuals owing to the dual-layer pixel stacking—leaves a notable impression.
While the precise pricing for these new models remains undisclosed, they are expected to become available in the coming months.
