Introduction of Roborock's First US Lawn Mower

Roborock is set to expand its innovative technologies to American lawns with the upcoming release of its first robotic lawn mower in the United States. This development comes months after the company's successful venture into the field of automated lawn care.

Overview of Roborock RockMow X1 LiDAR

Unveiled at the CES technology event, the Roborock RockMow X1 integrates advanced autonomous capabilities including all-wheel drive and the sophisticated combination of LiDAR with Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) for comprehensive 360-degree scanning.

Designed to traverse challenging environments, the RockMow X1 can manage slopes as steep as 80% and navigate over obstacles up to 3.1 inches high. This makes it a versatile choice for handling diverse lawn terrains.

Performance Capabilities

Capable of maintaining up to half an acre or approximately 2,000 square meters of lawn daily, the RockMow X1 offers slightly lower coverage compared to its predecessor, the RockMow Z1, which can mow an area of up to 5,000 square meters.

Market Competition

As it prepares to enter the US market, the RockMow X1 will face competition from other robotic lawn mowers that utilize similar LiDAR technology. This competitive landscape highlights the growing demand and innovation within the automated lawn care sector.
