LG Unveils Their Brightest OLED Gaming Monitor at $999.99

In the United States, LG has introduced a new dual-mode OLED gaming monitor, the GX7, offering exceptional refresh rates of up to 720Hz. This monitor, sporting a 26.5-inch display, relies on LG Display's fourth-generation WOLED technology. Gamers can enjoy a 540Hz performance at 1440p or push for a remarkable 720Hz experience at a lower 720p resolution.

Switching between the 540Hz and 720Hz modes is easily accomplished with a hot key. This feature is particularly advantageous for esports enthusiasts playing fast-paced games where higher frame rates are utilized. When a more stable resolution is preferred, users can seamlessly revert to the 1440p setting.

Priced at $999.99, the 27GX790B is touted as LG's most luminous OLED gaming monitor to date. Enhanced by a state-of-the-art tandem OLED panel, the monitor achieves a typical brightness of 335 nits. Furthermore, it boasts rapid 0.02ms response times and supports DisplayPort 2.1, along with Microsoft G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, ensuring a smooth gaming experience. The display also offers DisplayHDR True Black 500 for vivid color representation.

Preorders for the luminous 27GX790B are now available across the United States. LG sweetens the deal by including a promotional bundle valued at $299.99 for orders placed before February 1st, with shipping expected to commence in early February.
