Vivoo’s Smart Devices Monitor Your Hydration and Hormone Levels

Vivoo's Smart Devices Monitor Your Hydration and Hormone Levels

During the CES 2026 technology showcase, urinalysis specialist Vivoo introduced two innovative health-monitoring products. Leading the announcements was their Intelligent Toilet, which attaches seamlessly to your current toilet to assess hydration using advanced optical sensors.

This device marks a significant update from the 2023 model, which relied on reactive strips for testing. Instead, the current version collects a urine sample in a small, cup-like compartment for contact-free examination before disposal.

The sensors within this system evaluate urine by measuring its specific gravity. A higher density indicates dehydration, while a lower density may suggest overhydration, or potentially serious health issues like diabetes or kidney impairment.

Users initiate the testing process through a mobile application, receiving data directly to their devices once the test concludes. The company promises an impressive battery longevity, supporting over a thousand tests on a single charge before necessitating a recharge.

Comparison with Competitors

Without naming specific competitors, Vivoo compares its product favorably, highlighting superior battery life and operational convenience. Unlike cartridge-based systems requiring frequent maintenance, Vivoo's external battery design reduces the need for unwieldy sensor removals for recharging or sanitation.

Introducing the Hygenic FlowPad

Additionally, Vivoo unveiled the FlowPad, a menstrual pad featuring microfluidics technology, capable of analyzing hormones critical to fertility and reproductive well-being, including Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSI). Users conduct tests by scanning the used pad with their smartphone camera via Vivoo’s app.

Although the FlowPad's market debut remains pending, the company anticipates a retail price between $4 and $5 per unit.

Availability and Pricing

The Smart Toilet is currently available for preorder, offering an initial price of $99 without a subscription, with deliveries starting in March. Subsequent units under the same offer are scheduled for June release. General availability begins in September 2026, at which time the price will increase to $129, supplemented by an optional subscription fee of $6 monthly.
