Xreal is making a splash at CES by unveiling its latest entries into the AR market – the 1S AR glasses and the Neo dock compatible with the upcoming Switch 2, which also serves as an external power source. In an exclusive preview shared with The Verge, the ROG Xreal R1 set resembles something out of a cyberpunk narrative, boasting the look of high-tech aviator eyewear. They feature a mysterious LED indicator along the arms; speculated uses for this include signaling battery status or perhaps measuring 'leetness'.
