First Look at Samsung's Latest Speaker Innovations: Music Studio 5 and 7 Unveiled at CES 2026
Aiming to Capture Consumer Attention with Design and Functionality
In its latest showcase at CES 2026, Samsung unveiled two intriguing additions to its audio lineup, the Music Studio 5 and 7. Complementing their annual updates to soundbars, these home speakers are both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi compatible, designed with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic meant to seamlessly integrate with any home environment. Distinct from conventional speakers, Samsung has included advanced features that promise to deliver superior audio performance.
The Music Studio 5 is equipped with a four-inch woofer combined with dual tweeters, offering a rich audio experience enhanced by AI-driven Dynamic Bass Control. With a design that melds geometric forms of circles and squares, it produces sharp, clear acoustics, even amid the bustling ambiance of a CES exhibition. Available in a variety of colors, this model can bring vibrancy to any shelf. The controls are conveniently placed along the top edge, featuring easy one-touch Spotify activation.
Expanding Audio Horizons with the Music Studio 7
For those desiring a more robust sound solution, the Music Studio 7 represents a leap forward with its 3.1.1-channel system. Capable of delivering immersive four-way spatial audio and high-resolution output, it supports music playback up to 24-bit/96kHz. Ideal for integration with a turntable setting, the Music Studio 7 impresses with its enhanced bass compared to the 5. Like its counterpart, it sports user-friendly controls located at the front for intuitive operation.
Samsung presents the option to configure up to four Music Studio speakers into a home theater ecosystem. During a brief demonstration at CES, Samsung utilized a quartet of Music Studio 7 speakers to create a makeshift cinema setup, providing rich, detailed directional sound in synergy with the display. The experience was marked by a heightened sense of immersion. Moreover, up to ten Music Studio units can be synchronized solely for an audio extravaganza.
Pricing details for these innovative speakers have not been disclosed by Samsung. The company expects to release this information closer to the product's market release, the timing of which remains to be announced.
