PartyStudio: Your Versatile Wireless MIDI Speaker
Showcasing at CES 2026: Innovative Offerings by PopuMusic
In a market crowded with various devices for learning piano, PopuMusic, a niche company, is drawing attention at CES with their novel creations. They unveiled a MIDI keyboard called PartyKeys, and its perfect partner, the PartyStudio speaker, both designed for seamless integration. The PartyStudio is especially noteworthy due to its internal catalog boasting 128 diverse instrumental sounds and over 50 drum machine rhythms. While optimally paired with PartyKeys, it's equally compatible with any MIDI keyboard.
Seamless Connectivity with Advanced Technology
The PartyStudio and PartyKeys facilitate effortless connectivity through NFC — aligning the keyboard with the speaker initiates a quick pairing. This setup allows for simultaneous connections of up to three devices via Bluetooth Low-Energy MIDI, alongside an additional device using a wired connection. Users with multiple keyboards can use NFC to link three keyboards, creating an expansive 108-key interface.
Craftsmanship and Design
Both the speaker and keyboard exhibit a minimalist and appealing aesthetic, available in classic black or white finishes. PopuMusic has built a reputation through its Kickstarter projects, bringing solid construction to their new offerings. The PartyStudio speaker strikes a commendable balance of mobility and sound projection. Weighing just 3.75 pounds with dimensions of 13.5 inches by 5.2 by 4 inches, it manages to be portable yet robust, thanks to its carrying handle.
Innovative Software Features
On the software front, a companion app lets multiple users engage with tracks simultaneously. The keyboards provide visual cues via lights to guide players, allowing different users to see complementary parts for ensemble performances. Starting with basic chord structures, the app also supports more complex interactions akin to the rhythm-based interface seen in games like Guitar Hero.
Availability and Pricing
PopuMusic has launched the PartyKeys for pre-order on Kickstarter at a price of $199, while the PartyStudio speaker is set at $349. The company expects to fulfill orders in the first quarter of 2026.
