Hisense Introduces Cutting-Edge Laser Projector That Could Rival OLED TVs
Unveiling New Standards in Home Entertainment
As CES 2026 approaches, technology announcements in the home entertainment sector are already taking the spotlight. Hisense is leading this trend by revealing two groundbreaking projectors, poised to reshape consumer expectations.
The Impressive XR10 Model
The XR10 distinguishes itself as a 'lifestyle projector,' designed for long-throw projections. This model offers screen sizes ranging from a compact 65 inches to a massive 300 inches, suitable for diverse living spaces.
Its remarkable feature is an unparalleled brightness of 6,000 ANSI lumens. This triumphs over last year's model by 1,000 lumens, setting a new benchmark in the industry.
While firsthand performance can only be assessed at the CES event, Hisense assures users that its high luminance ensures clear visibility even in illuminated environments.
Enhancing its durability, the XR10 incorporates a sealed microchannel liquid cooling system to effectively manage heat, critical in such high-performance devices.
Featuring AI-powered Auto Adjustments, the XR10 employs cameras and Time-of-Flight sensors to smartly adapt its output to varying surfaces and angles, showcasing practical AI integration in modern tech.
Introducing the PX4-Pro
Alongside the XR10, Hisense revealed the PX4-Pro, a chic ultra-short-throw projector. It projects up to 200 inches and boasts 3,500 ANSI lumens, matched with IMAX Enhanced certification.
With an identical contrast ratio of 6,000:1 as that of the XR10, the PX4-Pro ensures vivid imagery and detailed separation of content.
Although specific pricing and market release details remain undisclosed, insights are anticipated during the CES event. Historically, the predecessor model, PX3-Pro, was priced around $3,000, suggesting a similar range or even higher for the latest models.
