Traeger Introduces Woodridge Pro Plus Grill with Wi-Fi and Enclosed Storage
Traeger launched its lineup of Woodridge Wi-Fi-connected pellet grills earlier this year, bringing a host of features known for performance at a more accessible price point compared to its high-end offerings. As the holiday season approaches, Traeger expands the Woodridge range with the new Woodridge Pro Plus model.
Why the Pro Plus Comes with a Higher Price Tag
For an additional $400 above the Woodridge Pro, the Pro Plus incorporates the enclosed storage cupboard seen in the Woodridge Elite. This cabinet provides a more practical solution for storing pellet bins and accessories within close reach of the grill compared to an open shelf. Enhanced with four caster wheels, the Pro Plus is easier to move over solid surfaces than the Woodridge Pro. The most notable distinction between the Pro Plus and Elite is the latter's inclusion of an induction burner on the side shelf.
Features Retained from the Woodridge Pro
Retaining all the practical features of the Woodridge Pro, the new Pro Plus boasts Wi-Fi-enabled WiFIRE technology, usable through the Traeger app, a Super Smoke mode, a generous 970 square inches of cooking area, and an integrated sensor to monitor pellet levels. Additionally, users can employ wireless thermometers from Traeger's own Meater line and customize their setup with the P.A.L. Rail system for added organization.
