After its removal from Apple's platform due to significant data exposure incidents, Tea, the app facilitating anonymous reviews of men by women, has launched a revamped website. Initially making waves in 2023, the Tea app quickly ascended to the top position on the iOS App Store. It allowed users to label concerning behavior, sharing photos of men and noting potential red flags like existing relationships or criminal histories. However, when user data was compromised, exposing personal information online, the app was pulled, necessitating heightened security measures.

Reinforced Security and Verification

The redesigned site incorporates significant security upgrades, reinforcing both internal and external protections. New collaborations with a verification service help authenticate female users through selfie verification processes.

Additional security enhancements include stringent monitoring and internal safeguards aimed at protecting sensitive data.

The Tea app's Android platform now includes an AI-powered dating adviser. This tool offers strategic assistance for datingrelated inquiries while a novel AI-driven chat analysis tool, Red Flag Radar, will soon assist in identifying warning signs in conversations.
