Amazon's New World: Aeternum MMO to Cease Operations in 2027
Game Sales Halt as of Today
Amazon has unveiled the concluding phase of its MMO, New World: Aeternum. After announcing in October the gradual phase-out of support, the company will see the Nighthaven season mark the culmination of this journey. Effective immediately, New World will be withdrawn from sales, but aficionados can still engage with the game online until January 31, 2027. The Nighthaven season will persist until that specified date.
Those who have already invested in New World: Aeternum can continue to download and engage with the game until it ultimately goes offline. Notably, purchases for the in-game currency, Marks of Fortune, will cease post-July 20, 2026; unfortunately, any prior transaction related to these will be non-refundable.
