Their initial product, the Naya Create, featured an ergonomic split layout with four interchangeable controller add-ons like a touchpad, trackball, rotary encoder, or a spatial mouse that offers six degrees of freedom. Building on that modular concept, the company has now introduced the Naya Connect, which extends this flexible approach to a more traditional flat keyboard design, drawing even more enthusiasts as evidenced by the project meeting its funding target in a mere six minutes.

The Naya Connect system comprises four primary elements: the Naya Type, a low-profile 75% mechanical keyboard, a 24-key multipad, a six-key programmable strip, and a versatile dock. The dock itself features four keys alongside a slot for connecting the same interchangeable controllers seen in the Naya Create. This system is perfect for those who are uncertain whether they prefer a full-size or compact keyboard, or whether a trackball or mouse suits them better.

One of the distinct features of the Naya Connect system is its magnetically attached components, allowing users to mix and match configurations. For instance, you might choose to have a large rotary dial on the left side of the keyboard and a touchpad on the right. If you're left-handed, you can conveniently place the multipad on the left side, or if you need extensive macro capabilities, you can opt for dual multipads on both sides.
