Power Your Entire Home with Anker's Solix E10 During a Blackout
Capable of Running High-Consumption Appliances Like a 5-Ton AC
Anker enters the home battery market, challenging key players, with their Solix E10 model. This device offers comprehensive home energy backup at a competitive price point, promising enough electricity to keep robust appliances like large air conditioners operational in a power outage. Its user-friendly design supports easy DIY installation thanks to its modular and plug-and-play build.
The Solix E10 packs a punch with up to 37.2kW of initial surge power. By stacking two units, this jumps to 66kW. A 'turbo output' option enables up to 10kW per unit for brief spans of 90 minutes. Coupled with a swift 20 milliseconds automatic power transfer from the power grid to the battery, users might not even detect a blackout.
Scalable System for Extended Backups and Renewable Integration
If larger setups are needed, up to three E10 batteries can be combined to deliver 90kWh, offering a backup duration of approximately 15 days, although this is based on an average daily household consumption of 30kWh. For those requiring more, the Solix Smart Generator 5500, running on various fuels like gasoline, propane, or natural gas, can further supply power by efficiently charging the E10 batteries. Plus, the E10 handles up to 9kW from solar power and triples with all units in place.
Optional parts, such as the Power Dock, facilitate automatic switching from the grid in outages within 20 milliseconds. An alternative, the Smart Inlet Box, offers a manual switch and allows charging using existing solar installations, aiding in cost reductions.
Durability and Pricing: Weatherproof and Cost-Effective
Featuring robust metal casings, these units are designed to endure challenging conditions, operating comfortably from -4 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The pricing for the Solix E10 begins at $4,299, increasing to $4,599 with the Smart Inlet Box, $5,799 if paired with the Solix Power Dock, and $7,399 when coupled with both the Solix Power Dock and Smart Generator. An extra E10 unit raises the cost to an approximate $10,000. Anker suggests its design reduces installation expenses relative to competitors due to its modular nature. The model is deemed intuitive enough for some purchasers to install themselves.
Available for Pre-order
The Solix E10 by Anker is now open for pre-order, promising to be a robust solution for those seeking comprehensive home energy backup solutions in face of power disruptions.
