Top 5 Exciting Lenovo Laptops Unveiled at CES 2026, Including a Twistable Design

At CES 2026, Lenovo has showcased an array of new devices, adding to its extensive range of laptops, desktops, and innovative concepts. Among the highlights are revolutionary rollable screens and an intriguing ThinkBook concept that caught everyone's attention.

The lineup features a revamped ThinkPad X1 Carbon, cutting-edge rollable displays for both horizontal and vertical orientations, and a remarkably lightweight 14-inch device. Enthusiasts of the Yoga 9i Pro will also find an updated version of this popular 16-inch model, signalling a promising year for Lenovo's innovation. Here's a rundown of the most exciting announcements.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 Aura Edition

A leading trend at this year's CES is product repairability, with manufacturers stepping up to make gadgets more user-serviceable. Lenovo surpasses these efforts with a comprehensive internal overhaul, introducing the 14th-generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon Aura Edition.

While it maintains the classic ThinkPad look, it's under the hood where the real changes lie. The device employs a novel 'space frame' arrangement, which strategically places hardware elements on either side of the motherboard, not only optimizing space utilization but also simplifying part replacements—even earning it a high repairability score of 9 out of 10.

Equipped with Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 CPUs, this design enhances both usability and sustainability, offering heightened processing power at 30W and swift LPDDR5x RAM clocking at 9600 MHz, setting a new standard for future flagship laptops.

Legion Rollable: A Bold Concept

CES wouldn't be complete without an avant-garde prototype from Lenovo, embodied by the Legion Pro Rollable. This inventive device reimagines the rollable screen concept on a horizontal plane, with the OLED screen extending from 16 inches to a substantial 24 inches.

The screen can operate in three distinct modes: Focus Mode while it's retracted, Tactical Mode at 21.5 inches aiding collaborative gaming efforts, and Arena Mode for a fully expanded 24-inch experience. Although still in the conceptual stage, this device highlights Lenovo's commitment to bold and distinctive innovations in gaming.

Though specific hardware configurations are not yet final, the Legion Rollable is inspired by the Legion Pro 7i model, hinting at potential integration of Intel Core Ultra processors, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics, and compatibility with Nvidia's DLSS 4 technology.

ThinkPad Rollable XD

Another innovative prototype, the ThinkPad Rollable XD, features a screen that extends over the top of the laptop, offering a dual-display function. The main screen seamlessly enlarges from 13.3 inches to 16 inches, providing users with a greater workspace.

Although mimicking last year's rollable ThinkBook, this model's dual-facing screen makes it unique. With anticipated availability later in 2026, it promises a productivity boost, likely powered by similar hardware to the sixth-gen ThinkBook Plus, possibly including an Intel Core Ultra 7 258B CPU and 32GB RAM.

ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist

The ThinkBook Plus lineup is renowned for its experimental designs, and for 2026, Lenovo introduces the ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist. This model boasts a central rotation hinge, enabling the screen to pivot nearly 360 degrees—ideal for collaborative work scenarios.

This versatile laptop includes a vivid 14-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen and features like Dolby Atmos audio and a generous 75Wh battery. Priced from $1,649, it will offer numerous configurations when it hits the shelves in June 2026, including up to 32GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD.

Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition

Departing from the rest of the lineup, the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra stands out with its ultra-lightweight, all-white aesthetics and high-end specifications. It weighs a mere 2.2 pounds and features a striking, high-resolution 2.8K OLED display.

This ultra-portable powerhouse is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processor and Intel Arc GPU, complemented by 32GB of speedy RAM. The Yoga Slim 7i Ultra is set to rival other flagship lightweight laptops unveiled at CES 2026, thanks to its top-tier performance and exemplary design.
