Rapid Ice Production with the New Portable Ice Maker at CES 2026
Have you ever needed a quick solution for ice creation? Debuting at the CES 2026 event, the Ice Leopard X1 claims the spotlight with its rapid ice production capabilities, boasting the ability to produce nine bullet-shaped ice cubes, roughly equivalent to one cup, in a mere five minutes.
I had the opportunity to examine the Ice Leopard X1 firsthand at the CES event. It's a surprisingly compact device, occupying a space similar to that of a standard coffee machine on your countertop. Conveniently, you can detach the ice container and secure a lid on it, which a company insider assured would keep the ice preserved for up to four hours. To fill the container to full capacity, expect about an hour's processing time.
Set to hit the market in April at a price point of $150, this device offers a competitive edge against other kitchen gadgets in its category. The machine's chic metal base can be customized in one of four available colors, while the ice bucket offers a choice of eight, comfortably dishwasher-friendly.
However, the Ice Leopard X1 isn't the only rapid ice maker presented at CES this year. Govee introduced another model which produces nugget ice in six minutes, yet it is a more elaborate and larger unit, retailing at $500.
