Ugreen Ventures into AI-driven Smart Home Surveillance

Known for its popular range of power banks, chargers, and NAS devices, the brand Ugreen is set to make its mark on the smart home technology sector in 2026. Announced at CES 2026, Ugreen is unveiling a new series of smart cameras under their SynCare line.

This new collection features the ID500 Pro and ID500 Plus for indoor settings, the OD600 Pro for outdoor use, and the Video Doorbell DB600 Pro. The complete lineup is expected to be available in the latter half of 2026, with more details on pricing anticipated during IFA 2026.

High-Definition Capture and AI Integration

The indoor cameras boast 4K video capabilities with the ability to pan and tilt, equipped with an f1.0 aperture ideal for low-light environments. Enhanced night vision allows for colorized viewing even in darkness, leveraging multimodal AI to identify people, animals, and noteworthy occurrences.

The doorbell camera covers a wide field from head to toe in 4K resolution, with advanced package detection functionality. A unique feature is the cross-camera awareness; if, for example, a child’s cry is detected, another linked camera can immediately notify you through an AI-driven alert.

Outdoor Surveillance and Security Measures

While details remain scarce, Ugreen indicates the outdoor model is engineered to withstand various weather conditions. This camera adopts a hybrid bullet design that includes pan, tilt, and optical zoom capabilities. It manages multiple surveillance zones aided by AI, capturing footage automatically when the outermost zone is breached.

Approaching closer triggers a 'warning zone' where an alert light is activated, and a notification is sent to your phone. The most critical area, the 'alert zone,' sets off a siren and the camera flashes blue and red lights.

Centralized Monitoring and Controls

Ugreen envisions households equipped with a range of these cameras, all manageable through the Smart Display D500, which doubles as a Wi-Fi hub. However, full functionality of the features is accessible via a mobile application, eliminating the necessity of owning the smart display.
