Cosori's New Stainless Steel Air Fryer Eases Concerns Over Microplastics

Pricey Debut at $250

Cosori, a well-known name in home appliances, has launched a new product: a stainless steel air fryer. This release took place amidst the hustle and bustle of Pepcom, a prominent media event preceding CES.

The company's latest innovation seeks to alleviate consumer worries about cooking with plastic air fryers. To tackle this issue, Cosori introduces a 6.5-quart air fryer featuring stainless steel construction and a ceramic, nonstick layer wherever food interacts with the appliance. The Iconic model boasts a metal finish that the company claims resists corrosion effectively.

The air fryer’s controls and display are smartly housed under tempered glass, lying atop the motor. This design allows users to pick from six cooking modes: air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate, proof, and reheat. With a temperature range from a chill 90 degrees Fahrenheit to a searing 450, it offers versatile cooking options.

Connectivity is another feature of the Iconic air fryer, which can sync with the VeSync app—an application supporting Bluetooth-enabled products from Cosori's portfolio. This enables users to manage and track the appliance remotely. The app comes equipped with a variety of recipes that can automatically adjust the fryer settings. In addition, Iconic works seamlessly with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, enhancing user convenience.

Currently available on Cosori's website, the Iconic model is priced at $250. For budget-conscious consumers, Cosori offers a less expensive 6-quart variant, currently considered a strong contender for the top air fryer.
