Viewing Hyundai at CES 2026 Live

Highlighting Robotics at the Global Electronics Showcase

Historically akin to a grand auto exposition, CES 2026 seems to be taking a backseat in automotive excitement this year. While Afeela, the brainchild of the Sony-Honda collaboration, is making an appearance, recent policy shifts under the Trump administration have removed significant electric vehicle incentives, resulting in a scaled-back automotive presence in Las Vegas this year.

Hyundai is opting to focus less on vehicles and more on cutting-edge technology. During CES week, its Mobis branch is set to unveil over 30 technologically merged innovations, including a novel Holographic Windshield Display. However, the highlight will be Hyundai’s dedication to advancing its AI Robotics Strategy, with the debut of its newest creation, the Atlas robot, alongside the innovative MobED robot series. Below, we provide details on how to watch these exciting developments in real time.

Where to Catch Hyundai's CES 2026 Broadcast

Today, January 5, at 4 PM ET, Hyundai will be streaming its presentation live. Viewers can tune in via either the HyundaiUSA YouTube channel or its global counterpart. We've provided the necessary link for convenient access.

Anticipations for Hyundai at CES 2026

Hyundai is heavily emphasizing its AI Robotics Strategy with today’s theme of 'Partnering Human Progress.' This initiative is pivotal to its approach towards commercializing AI-driven robotics, coinciding with CES's broader AI focus this year.

A highlight of the presentation will be the inaugural reveal of Hyundai’s Atlas robot. With visuals suggesting a design reminiscent of a canine, it aligns with the influence of Boston Dynamics, which Hyundai acquired six years ago in 2020. The projection of the Atlas represents a significant step in the practical application of intelligent robotics, demonstrating Hyundai's investment in creating secure and adaptable robot workers.

Moreover, the Atlas isn't standing alone. Hyundai will introduce the MobED Droid, a unique wheeled robot recognized with a CES 2026 Innovation Award at the event's commencement.

Onstage, Hyundai plans to disclose its strategic vision for enhancing AI Robotics through learning, training, and expansion endeavors. This will be actualized through their Group Value Network and the Software-Defined Factory method, outlining an evolved manufacturing approach and the concept of a smart, advanced production facility.

Initially, it was thought Hyundai would display its Holographic Windshield Display during the press conference. However, we've been informed by a Hyundai insider that this will not be the case, although the display will feature within the broader CES exhibition.

The content has been updated to incorporate details about the MobED lineup and to confirm that the much-anticipated Holographic Windshield Display will not be part of today's live press show.
