Mammotion, a key player in the robotic mower market, has introduced a fresh lineup of mowers during CES 2026, including the highly anticipated Mammotion Luba 3, the compact Luba Mini 2, and the brand new Yuka Mini 2.

The introduction of its successor, equipped with Mammotion's advanced Tri-Fusion Navigation System, stirs up anticipation. The innovative system boasts enhanced precision through upgraded positioning and path-finding features.

Advanced Navigation with Tri-Fusion

The Tri-Fusion system integrates three technological approaches for optimal lawn coverage and boundary adherence without physical wire constraints. It's a combination comprising LiDAR for laser scanning, NetRTK for effortless boundary settings via the Mammotion app, and artificial intelligence for real-time terrain recognition.

Through LiDAR, the robot generates a detailed 3D landscape with 360-degree horizontal and 59-degree vertical fields of view, reaching a distance of 330 feet. This capability allows for detecting obstacles within a centimeter, ensuring precise avoidance and efficient path adjustment.

Technology Behind the Luba 3

Deploying the NetRTK eliminates the hassle of installing physical boundary stations by allowing users to easily define mowing perimeters using an app. This intuitive setup feature reinforces the simplistic sophistication of the Luba 3.

Running tests with the previous Luba 2, I experienced its steadfast adherence to my property limits without needing physical barriers. It competently negotiates the borderline shared with my neighbor, showcasing consistent reliability.

The Luba 3’s navigation is augmented by dual HD cameras and an AI Chip, enhancing obstacle detection and machine intelligence. A processor with a capacity for 10 trillion operations per second doubles its analytical speed, allowing the mower to instantly identify and interpret various objects, even in challenging lighting conditions.

Mammotion is not only advancing but also refreshing its entire mower series, with new models anticipated to be rolled out by 2026.
