Samsung's Updated Freestyle+ Projector: More Luminous and Smarter
Introducing the Enhanced Freestyle+ at CES 2026
Samsung is set to unveil its upgraded Freestyle portable projector line-up for 2026. The fresh addition, named Freestyle+, is being highlighted in advance of CES, with enhancements that include doubling the brightness of previous models, reaching 430 ISO lumens, and incorporating AI-driven screen optimization features. Retaining the beloved features of its predecessors, the Freestyle+ comes with a 180-degree swiveling capability and 360-degree sound output. Furthermore, it integrates Q-Symphony, allowing it to sync seamlessly with select Samsung soundbars. Although specific details regarding specifications and pricing are sparse, Samsung will offer a glimpse of the Freestyle+ during CES 2026, where more intricate information is expected to emerge.
Previous versions of Samsung's compact projector range provided automatic screen enhancements, such as auto-focus and auto-leveling. Now, the Freestyle+ leverages artificial intelligence to elevate optimization protocols significantly. Through the implementation of AI OptiScreen, this model introduces features like 3D auto keystone to correct distortions on uneven surfaces, instantaneous focus adjustments if the projector position is shifted, automated screen alignment for compatible devices, and wall calibration to decrease visual interferences from the projected surface. Additionally, it integrates with Samsung's Vision AI Companion.
While the specific launch date for the Freestyle+ model is yet to be confirmed, the company aims to initiate its release within the first half of the year. The product will enter different markets in successive phases worldwide.
