Introducing LG's Latest Gram Laptops: 'Aerominum' Material
Pre-CES 2026 Announcement
Ahead of the CES 2026 event, LG has unveiled its new line of Gram AI laptops. These devices are exceptionally lightweight, which LG attributes to their innovative material, Aerominum.
Unmatched Lightweight and Strength
Aerominum is a proprietary material that significantly reduces the laptops' weight while enhancing their structural integrity. The result is a series of laptops that are not only light but also robust. Each model is scratch-resistant yet maintains a stylish metal appearance, meeting military-grade standards for durability.
AI Capabilities and On-Device Systems
The 'AI' in these laptops' designation stems from the integration of Microsoft Copilot+ PC along with LG’s proprietary system, enabling the handling of certain AI operations without needing a continuous internet connection.
Another notable feature is LG's Link technology, which facilitates seamless file sharing and screen mirroring across a variety of gadgets including smartphones, webOS devices, televisions, monitors, and projectors.
The New Models: Specifications and Features
This refreshed lineup includes two models: the LG Gram Pro 17 and the LG Gram Pro 16. The Gram Pro 17 offers a 17-inch WQXGA LCD display and is equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU, earning it the title of the lightest 17-inch laptop globally. Meanwhile, the Gram Pro 16 is endowed with an OLED screen and runs on the latest Intel Core Ultra processors.
