CES 2026 is fast approaching, and Samsung is already stirring excitement with its upcoming showcase. While we anticipate a plethora of smart home devices, televisions, and the newest in soundbar technology, Samsung is making waves with a new line: Wi-Fi smart speakers.

Samsung's Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 are slated to harmonize with their HW-Q990F and HW-QS90H soundbars, forming part of the company's audio offerings for 2026. As we gear up for CES, we have an intriguing preview of these models.

Introducing the Music Studio Series

The Music Studio range includes the Music Studio 7 (LS70H) and the Music Studio 5 (LS50H). The Music Studio 7 stands out as the premium option, boasting a 3.1.1-channel setup that employs spatial audio with speakers that emit sound from multiple directions.

Samsung boasts that this specific speaker incorporates AI-driven Dynamic Bass Control for reduced distortion and supports high-resolution audio playback up to 24-bit/96kHz. It integrates seamlessly with Wi-Fi-enabled Samsung soundbars and TVs, providing rear speaker functionality.

Meanwhile, the Music Studio 5 offers compact design benefits with a single 4-inch woofer, dual tweeters, and an internal waveguide. This setup enhances sound purity and directionality. Like its larger counterpart, it features AI Dynamic Bass Control and supports Wi-Fi casting, streaming platforms, voice commands, and Bluetooth.

Samsung's 2026 Audio Innovations: The Q-Series Soundbars

In earlier tests this year, the Samsung HW-Q990F stood out for its immersive quality, marking it a dependable choice within the sound system arena.

Set to lead the new 2026 lineup is the Samsung HW-Q990H, succeeding its predecessors with a 7.0.2-channel primary bar, 4.0.2-channel rear speakers, and an external subwoofer endowed with dual 8-inch drivers.

Altogether, this model equates to an 11.1.4-channel system, echoing last year's configuration but introducing smart features like Sound Elevation to project dialogue centrally, and Auto Volume for uniform sound levels across different content.

The lineup also features the Samsung HW-QS90H, a self-contained soundbar with a dynamic 7.1.2-channel setup, integrated with 13 drivers and subwoofer. Utilization of an internal gyro sensor allows this unit to adjust to any positioning, from tabletops to wall mounting, ensuring optimum sound quality.
