Transform Your Standard TV with the Wireless Displace Hub

Innovative Wireless Technology Hits CES Once Again

Back in 2023, Displace changed the game with its revolutionary TV concept featuring wall adhesion and integrated batteries. Fast forward to CES 2026, where the brand unveils the Displace Hub, a trailblazing device designed to untether traditional TVs by converting them to wireless systems.

A Versatile Wall-Mount System

The Displace Hub is much more than just a mount. It incorporates the renowned 'active-loop suction' technology from Displace’s televisions, allows you to attach screens effortlessly, and is equipped with a battery to power those screens. A mini PC runs its 'ambient computing platform' via an Intel N-150 quad-core processor, paired with a built-in GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.

Alongside its technological innovations, the Hub accommodates two HDMI connections for other gadgets and integrates the Displace Controller 2.0, which adds a secondary display for expanded information and content accessibility.

Considerations and Constraints

While impressive, the Hub's capabilities have threshold limits. Crafted to mount televisions weighing up to 150 pounds, it is intended for screens spanning 55 to 100 inches, potentially excluding some existing TV models. Energy consumption and battery duration are also relevant factors. The integrated battery purports to reduce power cable clutter, claiming an operational window between five to ten hours. However, frequent recharging might be necessary based on viewing habits, somewhat undermining the wireless advantage.

The unit does indeed support recharging without needing to dismount the television, yet managing the charge cycle adds complexity instead of the simplicity intended by going wireless.

Comparison with Other Market Solutions

In previous CES showings, other manufacturers like LG and Samsung have introduced semi-wireless models, using breakout boxes to reduce cable reliance. Nonetheless, while minimizing wires, these solutions don't fully eradicate them, and the Displace Hub aims at that elusive zero-cable setup, albeit with inherent trade-offs.

Launch Details and Pricing

Despite no official release date, the Displace Hub's retail price will be $1,900, with pre-orders opening at CES 2026. The arrival of this product signals a new chapter in home entertainment innovation.
