Unlike their original model with its more elaborate features, the Auk Mini retains simplicity. Released in May 2024, the Mini presents itself with four uniquely shaped pots resting above a sturdy water reservoir.

Functionality Meets Design

Setting up the Auk Mini is straightforward. Fill the pots with coconut coir, plant your seeds, add nutrient infusions, and plug in the overhead light. With simplicity at its core, this system eschews pumps, opting instead for an uncomplicated light timer set to run 17.5 hours daily.

Not only suitable for herbs, the Auk Mini can also support chili and tomato growth with increased lighting by a simple tap. However, experiences with similar gardens raise doubts about its efficacy for large plants.

Growth and Aesthetics

Success sprouted quickly with basil, soon followed by cilantro and parsley, showcasing how easily this garden can supplement your kitchen. These herbs reach maturity within approximately a month.
