Dave the Diver's In the Jungle DLC Faces Delay, Godzilla Makes a Comeback

Anticipation Builds with Free Nintendo Switch 2 Update

Celebrating its second anniversary, Dave the Diver's development team has unveiled several exciting updates for the game's future. Although mostly positive, there's a minor setback: the eagerly awaited In the Jungle DLC, originally slated for release later this year, has been pushed back to a potential 2026 launch. However, fans can still look forward to heartening news from the 11-minute celebratory video, including the return of the limited-time Godzilla DLC on all platforms, available until at least the end of 2026. If you missed it during its initial run, now is your opportunity to dive in.

Mintrocket Studio's leader, Jaeho Hwang, also announced that the team plans to extend the availability of the latest Ichiban's Holiday DLC throughout next year. Listening to the community's feedback on pricing, the DLC will receive 'regular discounts' to become more affordable for players.

With its recent debut on the Epic Games Store, Hwang confirmed that a complimentary update is in the works for the newly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, set to release in a few months. This upgrade promises enhanced frame rates, with further details to be revealed soon. Meanwhile, an exclusive sneak peek of the highly anticipated In the Jungle DLC is available about four minutes into the anniversary video.
