EcoFlow's Solar Innovation Reaches American Households

EcoFlow's innovative plug-and-play solar system is making its way to the US, debuting initially in Utah. This state recently sanctioned balcony solar systems capable of plugging directly into standard 120V outlets, thus bypassing complex and expensive utility company agreements.

EcoFlow's Stream Series offers a simple way for both renters and homeowners to cut their electricity costs while having a reliable power reserve in case of outages. Unlike elsewhere, there’s no immediate requirement for national certifications from The National Electrical Code, with assurances from EcoFlow that their systems are already trusted widely across Europe.

The Plug-and-Play Convenience of Stream

The Stream Series systems function with a microinverter, which enables solar energy to be seamlessly integrated into home utility power. This energy can also be stored in EcoFlow's batteries either for emergencies or to reduce costs during peak demand periods dictated by utility companies.

The Stream Ultra model is equipped with a 1.92kWh LFP battery and includes a built-in microinverter. Adaptable for both indoor and outdoor installation, it is weather-resistant and operational down to -20 degrees Celsius. Its energy capacity is expandable to 11.52kWh by linking additional battery units. Existing EcoFlow power station owners can also purchase the Stream Microinverter independently.

Maximize Solar Energy Usage

With capacity to handle up to 2000W from solar panels, whether mounted on roofs, placed on the ground, or hung over balconies, the system can deliver up to 1200W back to the home when connected to a dedicated 15A circuit. This setup helps minimize reliance on external power sources.

Seamless Monitoring and Management

EcoFlow presents the Oasis energy management platform, which complements the Stream devices. Through the EcoFlow app, users can effortlessly oversee and adjust their solar system's performance based on personalized energy needs remotely.

Introductory Offers and Pricing

To coincide with the US launch, EcoFlow is offering preorder discounts until July 31st. The introductory price for the Stream Microinverter is $299, set to rise to $599 later. The combination of the Stream Ultra with the Microinverter starts at $1,459, compared to a list price of $2,399, while the battery-only version begins at $1,199, which is expected to go up to $1,899.
