'12 Days of OpenAI' Showcases New Products and Demos – How to Tune In
As the festive season approaches, businesses are coming up with various strategies to capture public attention through special offers, showcases, or other promotional events. OpenAI has decided to join the celebration with its event, '12 Days of OpenAI.'
Recently announced on Wednesday, OpenAI divulged plans to kick off its 12-day series on December 5, providing a series of live broadcasts. Attendees can expect to witness an array of exciting and diverse releases, mentioned in their announcement.
Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, offered additional insights about this event. Scheduled to commence at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, these sessions will run each weekday, featuring either a new product launch or a demonstration.
Starting tomorrow at 10 a.m. PT, OpenAI is hosting 12 consecutive weekdays filled with live streams, unveiling everything from major products to smaller features. We are eager to reveal some outstanding innovations and extend warm holiday wishes!
How to Watch the Live Streams
The live presentations will be accessible on OpenAI's own website and will be uploaded promptly to their YouTube channel. To facilitate viewing, OpenAI will also provide a link to the stream on their X account ten minutes before the start time, which is around 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET daily.
While the exact content of these releases is shrouded in mystery, there's widespread speculation that one of the major announcements could be about their video model, initially released last February. Previously available to a select few for testing, this model was inadvertently leaked recently amid criticisms from some testers.
Additional anticipated releases may include an enhanced version of OpenAI's o1 LLM with superior reasoning capacities, and potentially a Santa-themed voice for their Advanced Voice Mode, rumored under the code name 'Straw.'
